The hills of North East Arkansas have been my home for the past 23 years. Growing up on the back of a horse, checking cattle, and rodeoing every weekend; the agriculture and western industry run through my veins.
My Greatest influence
I often times get asked who my inspiration is, the answer is simple, my grandfather. Richard Downing taught me everything I know about the agriculture and cattle industry. Before I could walk, he gave me first pony, and taught me how to rope and ride. He showed me what it takes to really be a cowboy. It is because of him, I know what hard work, determination, and perseverance means. He is the reason photography is not just a dream of mine, but instead, a reality.
I LOVE TO TELL THE STORY
The first and most important thing to me is my faith. I believe God put us on this earth for a purpose and he gave us a talent to better serve him. Telling his story, of Jesus and his glory and love, is telling our stories.
DOG MOM
I am a proud dog momma to two very sassy corgis named Josie and Millie. We go together like peas and carrots. Our favorite food group is potatoes (mashed potatoes are our fav). We have never met a stranger, (I have been told I can talk to a brick wall). At the end of a long day, we love to drive down a dirt road listening to 90's and Texas Country.
DR. MAC
Yes, I am a nerd, but I love school. In 2016, I graduated from Melbourne High School and moved to Magnolia, Arkansas to attend undergrad. After three short years, I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Mass Communication (Mass Media). Just two weeks after graduation, I started the graduate program at the University of Memphis. This year I will graduate with my master's degree in Journalism and Strategic Media - with my emphasis in Integrated Strategic Media. One day. I hope to earn my PhD to become Dr. MAC.

"We have known and been close to Mary Alice for a long time so choosing her as our baby announcement photographer was a no brainer. We knew she would do great work but we were completely blown away with how creative, and fun she was while still being completely professional."
